It is extraordinary news: Fiorentina has joined and passed Napoli in the race for Amrabat. The Verona midfielder has not yet given his approval to transfer to the azzurri, with De Laurentiis' club already finding an agreement with Verona for a June 2020 transfer. Even with the viola, a transfer would not happen until June (Amrabat cannot move in this transfer window as he has already played for Bruges this season), but the player seems very tempted by the offer made by Commisso. If Amrabat gives the ok, then Fiorentina would need to talk to Verona, and presumably at least match the 17-18 million that was offered by Napoli and accepted.
The player's agent has also spoken to Inter, however they have taken themselves out of the race as they are evaluating other profiles for the position.
