Pantaleo Corvino, Fiorentina's director has given an interview to La Gazzetta hello Sport where he spoke about working with no large budgets like it could be the case for other teams: "If I think about my biggest investment being the 13m for Gilardino and the highest wages budget being when it was about 40m, you can understand how I had to work".
