After getting a spot on the wing for Italy and becoming the young star player at Fiorentina, Federico Chiesa wants to keep showing his talent and keep improving game after game. The 21-year-old winger, however, is cautious about all the rumors around him, as he revealed in an interview with Corriere dello Sport: "If I am worth 60 million? My focus is only on showing my value all the time, even though those numbers seem a bit of an exaggeration to me. My priority is to show who is Federico Chiesa, week in, week out. I am happy here at Fiorentina. Who would I take with 60 million? Give me something more, those are not enough to buy a top player. With 200 million I'd take Mbappé".
Chiesa also discussed his role in Mancini's Italy: "We are a young team, we have a long way to go. I want to be ready when the coach calls me. I don't consider myself neither a regular nor a pillar for the team, I want to prove that I am worthy of wearing the Azzurri shirt and I will work hard to get another call-up. Mancini is starting a new project, he always says to us to play without pressure".
