Fiorentina's Martin Caceres's desire to win has not slowed down due to quarantine. The player spoke on his experiences and more with Corriere dello Sport.
"My hunger to win did not go away in lockdown, I cannot wait to start again. I want to stay in Florence. I'm well here, I live well. I would really like to continue my adventure here."
On being in quarantine away from family: "It's not easy, especially for those like me who have family far away. I try to spend the days training, watching movies or TV, doing video chats. In reality, I think a lot about the first responders against this virus and all the victims. For this, I make the sacrifice to stay at home. Go back to Uruguay? The temptation was strong, but you must respect the rules."
On Commisso's quotes to start the season again in complete safety: "Health is the most important thing. From our part, there's a desire to return to the pitch, but it needs to be done in maximum security. Commisso is close to us, he's like a father for us. He calls us often, he's great."
On the possibility of playing without fans: "A match without fans is different, especially in Florence, but we must adapt ourselves. There is chatter about playing every three days, it won't be easy, especially in the summer. But we're professionals, we must make ourselves ready."
