Fiorentina are looking to the future after today’s board meeting which took place today. The board had previously met right after the final match of the season against Genoa and this morning they reconvened at the offices within the Franchi stadium with the Della Valle family ready to step down after seventeen years with New York based entrepreneur Rocco Commisso as the likely next owner.
This development was confirmed by Andrea Paolo Panerai, a member of the board:”The Della Valle publicly stated they were leaving so I’m not the one stating this, the board was informed of their decision, one of the potential buyers has stated he’s negotiating, you don’t need me to tell you it’s Commisso”.
