It's now official: Cristiano Biraghi has renewed his contract with Fiorentina until 2024. The viola club tweeted the news, with the player commenting on his enthusiasm to stay another 4 years in Florence.
"I wanted to return to Florence. I am happy for the renewal, for this long term project. I was contacted by the club before the end of the last season and I felt their confidence and desire to bring me back to Florence. This was important because I wanted to return, as well. The renewal was automatic, the important piece was the desire to start again. The agreement is until 2024. Inside the renewal is a long term project, in four years, together with the club and president. We want to do good things."
