Fiorentina is thinking of bringing Domenico Berardi to Florence. The viola are looking to bring the Euro 2020 along to complete their attack, after holding onto Dusan Valhovic.
A first conversation with Sassuolo has already occurred over the telephone, but at the moment serious talks have not begun. There are not many days left to complete the deal as only eight days remain open in the transfer window. It would be an important investment on the side of Fiorentina.
Sassuolo values the Italian at 40 million euros, a very high figure which Fiorentina is looking to see if they can even reach. It also remains to be seen whether Sassuolo will let one of their most important players go and if the viola can tempt the neroverde to let Berardi leave.
Berardi was a protagonist for Italy during Euro 2020. He has grown with Sassuolo and has scored 105 goals and created 67 others. He has become the leader at the club, but Fiorentina now look to see if they can bring him to Florence in the last days of the summer window.
