Fiorentina adds defender Vitor Hugo from Palmeiras

A new purchase from Brazil for Fiorentina, 1991-born Vitor Hugo will join la viola from Palmeiras. The deal for defender Vitor Hugo, who also scored 8 goals in his 67 appearances, was announced by Fiorentina on their official site: "ACF Fiorentina announces the outright purchase of the sporting rights for Vitor Hugo Franchescoli de Souza from Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras. The defender will sign a four year contract with an option for a fifth year after undergoing his medicals, which will begin tomorrow, June 6th."
