The deal between Milan and Fenerbahce for left-back Ricardo Rodriguez is in standby after that the Turkish club were given a transfer ban by the TFF (Turkish Football Federation) due to issues with the rules of Financial Fair Play. Fener's president Ali Koç will appeal the ban on Monday and will speak about the situation on television
"From today on we can make new signings because yesterday the TFF revealed their decision [to ban us from the transfer market]. Of course we will immediately appeal this decision", Koç said. Rodriguez, however, will wait for Fenerbahce and for developments in this situation, as he believes in the Turkish's club project.
In the next few hours it will be more clear whether Fenerbahce's appeal will be successful and, cosequently, whether the Turkish club can complete the signing of the Swiss left-back.
