Fenerbahce have set their sights on Milan centre-back Cristian Zapata and they are trying to bring him to Instanbul in this winter's transfer window. The Turkish club have offered the player a 2 year and a half deal with a salary of 2.4 million euros per season, the same wages that Milan are paying at the moment.
The Colombian is evaluating the offer from Fenerbahce, as Milan are yet to make a move for the contract extension. In the past few days, Milan sporting director Leonardo met with Zapata's agent Ivan Ramiro Cordoba to discuss the defender's future, that will be resolved with either a contract extension or his departure with Fenerbahce as his next destination.
