After parting ways with Napoli just a week ago, Carlo Ancelotti is ready to continue his career in the Premier League. The Italian coach has in fact reached an agreement with Everton on Monday night and today he will meet Napoli's chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis to discuss the termination of the contract still in place with the Italian club. A formal yet required step before the coach can sign a contract with another club, as the deal with Napoli forced the Italian club to pay the coach's salary up until he found a new coaching job. Should Ancelotti reach the total agreement with Everton, he will be in charge for the clash against Arsenal.
For their part, the Merseyside club announced on Monday that they would have soon revealed the name of Marco Silva's replacement, with a statement issued on their website: "The Everton Board has been working to recruit a new permanent manager – and has held meetings with a number of candidates. We can confirm that thus far no contract offer has been made and no candidate has chosen to withdraw from the process. While the Club is keen to confirm a new permanent manager as soon as possible, the only important duty is that the right appointment is made"
