The managerial carousel could start soon, with Milan, Genoa and Sampdoria all involved. The future of Giampaolo, Di Francesco and Andreazzoli is in fact very uncertain and the sacking of one of them could cause a domino effect involving many coaches.
One of them is definitely Luciano Spalletti, as the former Inter coach has said 'yes' to Milan, despite his running contract with the Nerazzurri. The coach appreciates Milan's project and is willing to take the job, but he will have to reach an agreement over the severance pay to terminate the contract with Inter, a crucial step for the conclusion of the deal. The contacts between Elliott and Zhang are ongoing in order to reach an agreement, after that Spalletti could sign a three-year deal with the Rossoneri.
Milan's alternative to Spalletti would be Pioli, who was also contacted by Genoa and Sampdoria. The former Fiorentina coach prefers Genoa over the other destinations. President Preziosi is waiting for developments in the talks between Inter, Milan and Spalletti before trying to step up his interest in Pioli.
Finally, there's Sampdoria. With Pioli inclined to turn down their offer, the Blucerchiati are evaluating different options: Iachini is one of the candidates, while the name of Gattuso remains on the background. The negotiations for the former Milan coach, in fact, are yet to gain momentum.
