Roma continue to work on signing Carles Perez after reaching a financial agreement on the figures of the deal with Barcelona. While the two clubs agreed to a loan with forced option to buy- based easily attainable benchmarks- for a total of €12/13 million, the blaugrana are insisting for a buy back clause, a formula they typically use when they sell one of their young players.
The clubs are working on a solution that would allow Barcelona a right of first refusal should Roma decide to sell Perez down the road. Sporting director Petrachi, has clear intentions- he wants to add Perez to Fonseca's squad before the window closes.
In addition to Perez, Roma are pursuing other wingers including Chelsea's Pedro for whom there are ongoing contacts while in the past few days there has been expressions of interest for Stephan El Shaatawy's return.
