After completing his medical visits last Saturday, Joel Asoro is officially a Genoa player. The Swedish attacker spent last season with Groningen, where he scored three goals in 15 matches. Asoro arrives from Swansea on a loan deal with the right to buy set at 600,000 euro, plus an additional 200,000 euro in eventual bonus. The Welsh club paid 2.5 million pounds for his talents two years ago. The player desired a transfer to Italy, even asking Sweden to not bring him to their U21 retreat. Brugge, Monaco and Troyes were also interested in the player.
