Eintrach Frankfurt triggered the option-to-buy clause for Serbian striker Luka Jovic. The former Benfica player, born in 1997, who is enjoying a formidable season both in the Bundesliga and in the Europa League, has signed a contract through 2023 with the German side. Eintracht have in fact made his deal permanent for 7 million euros, the exact sum agreed in the loan contract at the beginning of the season.
However, the Serbian's days in Frankfurt could be numbered, as Barcelona have set their eyes on him. The Blaugrana are following him closely as proven by the fact that they scouted him during the Europa League clash against Inter in San Siro.
