Destro’s agent Puccinelli:”We received some offers from abroad in January but he didn’t consider them”

This season has been challenging for Mattia Destro considering that the striker has often been excluded from Bologna’s starting lineup, and on Sunday he didn’t get to play against Inter at San Siro. The former Roma and Milan striker’s agent Luca Puccinelli spoke to Il Resto Del Carlino about his client’s situation:”The truth is that nothing happened and that we want to understand why this is taking place, Mattia lacks intensity and determination in practice? This is where I draw a line. The manager can make his choices and he has no issues with that. But the manager cannot attack Mattia’s professionalism. Bologna was a choice that comes above everything else. In January he had a few concrete offers from abroad. I brought them to him, but he didn’t want to consider them because he feels he owes a debt of gratitude to the club and the city and he’s convinced he can repay it. Mattia just wants to help Bologna like all of his teammates”
