Deportivo & Villareal join race for Soriano while Sampdoria pursues Praet

Sampdoria is looking to take concrete steps on the transfer market with Roberto Soriano being the first domino. Napoli continues to be interested in the midfielder, the partenopei asked for information about him yesterday- they're monitoring his situation in case Omar El Kaddouri leaves. In addition Deportivo saw their offer of €12 million being turned down while Villareal is thinking of using his €15 million exit clause. In fact Sampdoria prefers not to negotiate but rather wait for a club to pay the clause- the potential replacement for Soriano is Dennis Praet who could arrive for €10 million. Should Soriano not leave, then Sampdoria wil wait to sign Praet at a lower price later on since his contract expires in 2017 and he has expressed his intention to net extend his current deal.
