Three years after he left Watford, Gianfranco Zola could sign a contract with Birmingham City between this evening and tomorrow morning. Zola would return to England to join the Championship club, who sacked manager Gary Rowett this morning. Birmingham is in 7th place in the championship, after a win yesterday, but are no doubt focused on promotion to the Premier League. Zola's agent is on his way to London and will travel to Birmingham to meet the directors of the club and to discuss final preparations for signing contract. An agreement between the sides is already in place, and it's only a matter of time until Zola returns to a job managing in England.
