After only a little over a month following his firing, Frank De Boer has returned to speaking about Inter. The Dutchman spoke to Ziggo Sports in an interview in which he explained the problems facing Inter: “The owners are Chinese, the president is Indonesian, and there is an Italian supervisor. They all have power, and yet no one really has any. I believe that to be the primary problem. The management sets high expectations but you must first look at what exists within the club and how it is organized. I was attempting to implement a 4-3-3 with high pressure. Sometimes it went well like in the match against Juventus, but we had too many ups and downs. More time was required. At Napoli it took eight years prior to seeing the results of their project. At Inter they wanted results within two weeks, but this is not possible.”
