Dani Alves is now a Sao Paulo player. The Brazilian side has announced his return to the country, 18 years after he moved from Bahia to Sevilla. The former Juventus, Barcelona and PSG wingback, whose contract with the French side ended the 30th of last June, will wear the number 10 shirt and has signed a contract through 2022.
"It's incredible, but he's here playing with his favourite team: Welcome, Daniel Alves! The player who's won the most in football's history has decided to return to Brazil and will play for Sao Paulo. On Thursday the club has decided to accept the player's request, who's signed until December 2022" is the official statement posted on the club's website.
