A season lived between first the Serie A, and then the Serie B; Amato Ciciretti after starting the 2017/18 season with Benevento, was transferred in January to Parma, to help them obtain promotion to the Serie A. He did just exactly that, thanks to his goal in the 0-2 win against Spezia on the last day of the championship.
Now Amato Ciciretti will return to Napoli for the summer retreat, the team owning his card, before he decides his future according to the club and new coach Carlo Ancelotti. Radio Kiss Kiss spoke to the player about the new adventure with the Blues and his future. These were his words:
"For me it is an honor and a privilege to be part of this Napoli side, at least for the withdrawal, then I do not know what they will decide. I arrived late in a big club for my demerits, I think I matured a little later than the others. I still have to show that I can play in Napoli. Obviously it is not easy, in attack, they have very important players, but I will do my best to carve out a small space and remain in the blue coloured jersey."
"What did I think when I signed? My thought was to want to play here. It is obvious that I have to prove to Ancelotti and everyone that I am ready to take my chances. In attack, they are all very strong, so the club will decide. Still move to Parma? Yes, I have always said that if the company decides to send me the loan, the first option is Parma, who has treated me very well over these past six months. I would lke to stay in Napoli, but if this were not the case, Parma would be the first choice".
