Chievo and Giampiero Ventura have defined their deal that would lead to the manager being on Chievo's bench. The deal was reached on the basis of a two-year contract. Ventura beat Iachini to the job as he accepted the club's demands of one year contract with the option for the second year if Chievo survives relegation. The former Italy manager was more focused on the January transfer market than the length of his contract. Tomorrow will be the first training session and his debut will be against Gasperini's Atalanta on October 21.
