Jules Kounde is very close to securing a move to Chelsea.
The 1998-born French international defender is set to leave Sevilla to undertake a new adventure, in the Premier League with Tuchel's side.
Kounde arrived two summers ago from Bordeaux, and became a regular starter with Sevilla. In 2020 he helped lift the Europa League trophy, attracting interest from top clubs in the process.
The deal is set to be completed for €50 million with additional bonuses which can be triggered by conditions yet to be decided on between the clubs.
Bought for €25 million just two years ago, Kounde has seen his market value double after his last stint in Spain.
