Antonio Rudiger to Chelsea is official. The English club confirmed the news on their official website with the following statement:
"Chelsea Football club is delighted to announce we have today completed the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Roma. The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract and will wear the No. 2 shirt."
The player himself then added "It's a great feeling because not every player has the opportunity to join a huge club like this. I am looking forward to meeting up with my new teammates and I'm very proud to officially become a Chelsea player."
Roma has also confirmed the departure of the player and the figures on their website. The player was sold for 35 million euros plus 4 million in bonuses.
