Chelsea-Roma, agreement reached for Emerson: defender will take medical & sign contract in London on Tuesday

Chelsea have completed a deal bringing left back Emerson Palmieri to London from Roma. The Blues will add Palmieri for a fee of €20m plus €8m in bonuses. He’ll fly to London where he’ll take medical on Tuesday before signing the contract that will make him officially a Chelsea player. On the other hand, Edin Dzeko won’t be joining Emerson on Chelsea’s squad, he’ll finish the season at Roma.
