Ninth place in the table, eleven points behind Manchester United: Lampard's Chelsea have been struggling during this season and the management, still confident for a route change, has decided to sack the former Chelsea midfielder.
Telegraph's rumours are being confirmed: already today Lampard should be informed about the decision, and the first choice to replace the coach is the former Borussia Dortmund and Psg coach Thomas Tuchel. After having been sacked from Psg on last December, Tuchel has long been a target for Roman Abramovich, eager to bring a German coach at Chelsea.
After the seven trophies won with Borussia Dortmund and Psg, Tuchel is ready for a new experience: the main target is the qualification to the next Champions League.
