Despite Lazio's intense pursuit, Olivier Giroud is expected to finish the season at Chelsea. The Blues have in fact decided to keep the French striker, Lazio had put on the table a three and a half year contract while Chelsea would have received one million for the loan and a forced option to buy set at €5 million, but because they weren't able to find a replacement, Giroud will stay at Chelsea.
