Chelsea and Inter will soon play each other in the International Champions Cup 2017, lighting up the friendly competition with another high-quality game. At the eve of the match, Antonio Conte attended a press conference and spoke about a number of topics, including his proximity to joining Inter earlier this summer:
"I had two years left at Chelsea and decided to continue here, as was right: I have a job yet to finish. Contacts with Inter? It doesn't matter now: I'm happy at Chelsea and I even renewed my contract. In Premier League you always need maximum concentration: we all saw what happened to Leicester. There are at least six title-contenders and it's always tough against the smaller teams."
Then, he spoke a little bit about Serie A: "Inter impressed me, as they already have an identity and this builds trust: they're doing well. Are Juventus still favourites? I don't want to talk about Serie A."
