Antonio Conte was interviewed on Sky Sport 3 on the Italian channel's Premier Show hosted by Paulo Di Canio. Conte, leading Chelsea to a ride atop the Premier League, described his day after the match: "I just finished watching the other matches, the City match and the United match. I am keeping tabs on everything, absolutely". Conte spoke about his tactics in the Premier League, mentioning in this the importance of Kanté in the team: "He's unbelievable. His dependability, we know, but he has quality, too. He even should get better in some parts. He tends to be a horizontally moving player, but needs to learn verticality. He's a great kid, always helping out the other players. It was a terrific purchase. His goal against Manchester United was wonderful. But again, he can get better. He's still so young."

And on the change to the back line, how did the idea come about? "It is how I do my job. I practice blind faith. We won the first three matches, but it didn't satisfy me. And then I looked back at last season, practically the same players were here. You can't turn the ugly duckling into the swan all at once. But we found a way to balance it out, finally. Total faith in my ideas is what helped. It was decisive thinking."

Is the Premier League title already won? "There isn't one team chasing us who to me is most worrying. I won't name one, to be superstitious. Experience for a player is a useful thing to have. I won a Champions League but lost other finals: this has made me want to win even more badly. There are still 14 matches. Are we talking about the trophy now? No. Anything can still happen. Today City was able to win at the finish against Swansea: I would rather they had tied. Hazard? He's immensely talented. He has ability in all measures of the game
