Chelsea and Conte move closer to agreement on extension: the latest

After moving closer to winning his first Premier League title, Antonio Conte will likely continue to lead Chelsea in the future. The Italian manager and the Blues want to continue their journey together, and recently they made progress towards an extension on the current contract which expires in 2019. Conte's relationship with owner Abramovich is excellent, and the same can be said for Martina Granovskaia, the current team manager- everyone is in agreement on having a significant transfer window this summer to do well in the Champions League. Conte and Chelsea are working on building a long term relationship.
