After his contract at Paris St Germain expired, Edinson Cavani signed with Manchester United at the end of the transfer window. The Uruguayan striker discussed his relationship with Neymar, now a former teammate, during an interview with ESPN:"He's a good person. The only time we had an issue, and everyone's knows this, was in the match against Lyon. We had a discussion in the locker room, but it ended there"
Cavani went on:"We don't all have to be friends or a family within the squad. What matters is to be united on the pitch, protect each other, run one for the other. You don't need to all go out for dinner, what can't be lacking is the respect and efforts for your teammates. It's true Neymar and I didn't share much, but that didn't prevent us from having a good relationship and respect each other"
