While he hasn’t been on a team since his brief experience at Hellas Verona back in 2017, Antonio Cassano hasn’t lost his passion for the game and has kept himself in good shape to eventually return to the pitch. The former Roma and Milan striker has in fact been looking for a team to practice with as he waits to find a permanent club, and now Virtus Entella have welcomed him.
The club is currently in Italy’s third division, today they issued an official statement to announce the development: “Virtus Entella communicate that they accepted Antonio Cassano’s request and on Monday he’ll practice with the team under manager Roberto Boscaglia’s supervision without any contractual obligations”
