Sassuolo's director Giovanni Carnevali has talked to Il Corriere dello Sport about the Neroverdi's transfer window, with many players reportedly on their way out: "I can assure you we've received no official request. I read that Berardi's going to Roma, Acerbi to Lazio and Politano to Inter. I'm just staying in touch with some clubs though, and I haven't received no official offers. I've only talked to an agent about a particular interest. It's true I know Di Francesco likes Berardi but I hope a club we have a good relationship with would come up officially".
"Berardi? He's always had requests in the last four years, not only from Juve, Inter and Roma but also from foreign clubs. Tottenham and England sides, but also French ones. We've talked with the player about the futur, we could consider selling him if all the parameters, economical and technical, are met. We wouldn't sell a player only because he wants to go though".
"Politano's value went up with the national team call up. Napoli wanted him in January and he's now shown even more during the second half of the season".
About the coach: "Iachini still is in the race and he's the priority. De Zerbi? We already liked him last year, but there also are other coaches".
