Gregory Van der Wiel seems set to sign in MLS with Toronto FC. The dutch wingback, after 5 played games with Cagliari in Serie A and a long wait for an ankle injury he had since last summer, seemed on his way back to his full potential. Considered as an important player by Diego Lopez, he would have thought the decision to move to Canada through though: the Sardinian would receive about €1m as a counterpart. He posted a picture on Instagram, at the Air Canada Centre for the Toronto Raptors vs Los Angeles Galaxy game.
