After they secured a spot in Serie A for next season, Cagliari is planning it with the objective to remain in the top Italian league another year. In that order, they're evaluating different candidates for their bench. Besides Juric, that has already had a meeting with the club, and De Zerbi, that is also pursued by Sassuolo and Bologna, Rolando Maran's name got in the mix too.
Maran has coached Chievo for most part of the season, before a crisis where the club got close to relegation and put D'Anna in charge of the club to secure a Serie A position.
