Cagliari pursuing Kwadwo Asamoah: the latest

Cagliari are looking at free agent Kwadwo Asamoah, formerly at Udinese, Juventus, and Inter. The rossoblù are looking to reunite Asamoah with Godin and Nainggolan, his teammates at Inter, and provide experience for the team under newly extended coach Eusebio Di Francesco. The deal can close beyond February 1 given his status as a free agent. His last match in Serie A came in December 2019, in his career he has made 270 appearances in the league, winning the Scudetto six times, Coppa Italia four times, and the Supercoppa three times.
