Cagliari players agree to forgo April wages: statement

In a statement released on their official site, Cagliari has announced an agreement made with the players to forgo April wages: The statement reads: "Cagliari Calcio announces that this morning a deal was reached with the players from the first team allowing for the forgoing of payments for the month of April 2020. President Tommaso Giulini thanks the players who signed the agreement for the sentiment shown which has a concrete impact of protecting the club, in a particulary complicated period when it is difficult to envision future developments. As requested by the documents signers, this transation will contribute to a drastic reduction in layoffs to club employees."
