Cagliari has had the crazy idea of going after Emmanuel Adebayor to reinforce the offense with an experienced player: first contacts have been made with the striker, currently a free agent after last season at Crystal Palace, President Giulini’s club is also looking at Marco Borriello.
The president is however very intrigued by the option of bringing the former Arsenal and Manchester City man to the Serie A, a deal which could have further developments in the coming hours. Same thing for Sulley Muntari, with the club in contact with the former Milan player: in the next few days the parties will decide whether to look for a deal or not. Cagliari is very serious about putting on a strong team.
