Cagliari could consider signing a free agent to replace Cigarini: the details

Cagliari are considering some names to replace injured Luca Cigarini in the playmaker role. The former Atalanta player is in fact a fundamental asset in Diego Lopez's tactical plan: the Rossoblu have lost all the three games that they have played without him. After adapting many players like Joao Pedro, Cossu and Barella, the club could bring in a midfielder from the free agents market. The possible candidates are Antonio Nocerino, released by MLS side Orlando at the beginning of January; former Manchester United and Fiorentina Anderson, who left Internacional de Porto Alegre in mid-December; and Cameroonian midfielder Alex Song, formerly at Arsenal and Barcelona. Anyway, a deal could be difficult due to the high wages. Cagliari have time to consider signing one of these three option until February 28th.
