A lengthy negotiation for Cagliari in the additino of Zito Luvumbo has been completed, with the 2002-born Angolan set to join the club. He arrives from Primeiro de Agosto for a €1m fee plus a percentage of his future sale going to the club. The deal was arranged by intermediary Dario Paolillo. Luvumbo's flight to Sardinia will have several stops over on his way to Italy, and when he arrives in his new city he will spend two weeks in voluntary isolation, following which he will take his medicals with Cagliari. The player was specifically requested by Di Francesco, an inverted right winger who can play in the coach's 4-3-3 system. Manchester United scouted the player previously as a 16-year-old and after a tryout with the English club he was let go. He will get another chance in Europe with Cagliari.
