Sampdoria are set to welcome a new addition to their attack, as Brescia's striker Ernesto Torregrossa is on the verge of returning to Serie A and join the Blucerchiati. The two clubs reached an agreement for the transfer of the 28-year-old, as reported by "Il Secolo XIX".
The deal is down to final details, with Brescia receiving €6 million plus one additional million in add-ons for their player, who found the net five times in 12 appearances this season in Serie B with Le Rondinelle.
Sampdoria will now focus on trying to make the transfer of another striker, currently on loan, permanent. The Blucerchiati are in fact negotiating a transfer fee with Empoli to buy Antonio La Gumina, with the player that could then be loaned out in Serie B to Pescara.
