Failing to reach an agreement with Diego Lopez, Brescia has moved on from the Uruguayan despite talks with president Cellino. The club's favored alternative is Fabio Grosso, who just moments ago resolved his contract with Hellas Verona. He will now become coach of Brescia barring unexpected complications. Grosso is expected on Monday afternoon to sign a new contract until June 2020, with a one-year option in the case of safety from relegtion. Diego Lopez, despite failing to find an agreement, left talks in a positive state, the issue was the difficulty leaving Penarol midseason with several objectives in reach.
