Figlio d' arte, e tra i padri fondatori della categoria degli agenti/intermediari, Giovanni Branchini, gestisce gli interessi di molti calciatori tra cui Douglas Costa e De Sciglio. In un intervista alla Gazzetta dello Sport,

Giovanni Branchini runs a lot of players' interests, Douglas Costa and De Sciglio being two among them. He's given a long interview to La Gazzetta Dello Sport. He's talked about Inter: "If they sell Perisic and/or Joao Mario, who both have lots of suitors, they'll do two big important moves. They are now working on youngsters as has done Juve in the last years".

About Juventus on Douglas Costa: "It's the decisive week in my opinion. We're working on it for 45 days, I'm optimistic about it. Dani Alves leaving has misplaced Juve. Allegri values De Sciglio well. They made a concrete offer last year, this year not yet, we'll see".

About important mercato moves: "CR7 will, in my opinion, stay at Madrid. Mbappé? I don't know if he'll leave for Real. Arsenal made a 150 million offer? They haven't spent a lot these years but Wenger renewing for two years changes that policy. It may be an exaggerated offer but not immoral. Belotti? In the end he'll leave if an important offer comes to him and to Torino. He's liked a lot abroad, he gives back so much, especially to a team which gets him spaces. He sacrifices a lot, he's a modern forward. He should cost 70-75 million to me"

About James that could come to Italy: "He could have made the cut for Milan but they've got Cahlanoglu. I think he might go elsewhere". Inter interested in Keita from Leipzig: "I like him a lot, he plays like Kanté but with more technical skills. He's got an exit clause for next year and I think he won't be sold this year. But if he were to leave, he'd go to Liverpool for me".
