The experience for the former Zenit man with Tianjin Quanjian in China lasted only a year - Borussia Dortmund has decided to pay the player's release clause to bring him to Germany, for an operation that will be formally defined within the coming days through the "FIFA TMS". An agreement has been found with BVB: the 1989 born player will in fact be a new player of the yellow and black club until 2022.
Witsel - as witnessed by a video that appeared on the official social media pages of Borussia Dortmund - arrived in Germany today to have hiss medical visits with his new club. For him, the doors of the Bundesliga have opened: After Standard Liege, Benfica, Zenit St. Petersburg and last year's Chinese experience, Witsel will return to Europe with Marco Reus and BVB.
