In recent hours, Borussia Dortmund has begun monitoring Merih Demiral, the 1998-born centerback from Juventus.
The Black and Yellow are making the Turkish defender their main objective for the role under new coach Marco Rose. Dortmund, after selling Jadon Sancho to Manchester United in recent days is ready to make an offer for Demiral to the bianconeri.
Dortmund currently have Emre Can in their team. The ex-Juventus midfielder played with Demiral in the first match of the 2019/2020 season under Maurizio Sarri before moving to the Bundesliga club.
Demiral arrived at Juventus in the summer of 2019, having previously joined Sassuolo the January prior. He was brought up in Fenerbahce's youth system in Turkey, before moving to Alcanenense and Sporting Club of Portugal, then in senior Turkish football with Alanyaspor.
