Bologna edging closer to deal for Velez Sarsfield's Nicolas Dominguez

The signing of Gary Medel from Besiktas, won't be the last piece of business for Bologna in the summer transfer window. The Rossoblu have in fact now shifted their attention onto Nicolas Dominguez of Velez Sarsfield. The Italian club had already made an attempt to sing the 21-year-old midfielder in June and now their have reignited their interest to the point that they could close a deal with the Argentinian side without having to pay the boyout clause in the player's contract. The transfer fee should be in the region of €5 million, with the player expected to stay in Argentina for one more season, before arriving in Italy in 2020. Possible developments on the state of deal are expected to happen in the coming hours.
