After parting ways with Donadoni, Bologna have chosen Filippo Inzaghi as next rossoblu coach. The current Venezia boss has edged ahead of SPAL coach Semplici in the race to be Donadoni's successor. Inzaghi's appointment will be announced after the Serie B play-off.
Bologna are not the only Serie A club looking for a new manager. Cagliari have in fact targeted former Chievo coach Maran as Diego Lopez's successor. Maran is leading the race ahead of Juric, another possible alternative for Cagliari, as president Giulini will make his final decision between today and tomorrow.
