When asked who was the best player with whom he had ever played, Boateng didn't wait more than two seconds to respond with...Ibrahimovic, completely forgetting Leo Messi.
A declaration that caused more than a little embarassment both for the few happy memories that Ibra left at Camp Nou, with just one disappointing season in the Barca shirt, and for excluding Messi from the top spot at the podium. While Boateng has shared the locker room, training and secrets with the #10, he seems totally forgotten in this response.
