Sampdoria have their eyes set on Polish starlet Dawid Kownacki. His coach Nenad Bjelica at Lech Posnan believes the 20 year old is the next Robert Lewandowski.
"They both grew up at Lech and have the same physical characteristics. Both have a knack for scoring goals. Dwaid made his professional debut at 16 years old. He's scored 9 goals in the Polish top flight and is the typical modern forward. I do think he'll become as good as Robert one day. There is serious interest in Italy from Sampdoria. I think he'd do well in Serie A. He's played over 100 games in the Polish first division which isn't an easy league. I would love to keep him but I'd never block a transfer."
