After playing 28 matches at the club, Walter Birsa rescinded his contract with Cagliari last November. The former Chievo trequartista is looking for a new team where he can be a protagonist and is pondering a few options.
In the Middle East, both Damac and Al Jazira have made the initial inquiries to sign Birsa, while in Europe, Hajduk Split are monitoring the situation. So far in his career, Birsa has appeared in 223 Serie A matches and 149 in Ligue 1- he's now looking to begin the next chapter.
